Rida Aamer wins Bank of Canada best undergraduate research award

At the 2019 CEA meetings, Rida Aamer was awarded the Bank of Canada ‘best undergraduate research award’. Rida, who completed an undergraduate in economics, public policy, and mathematics at the University of Toronto, presented a poster on “The Economist: Underrepresentation of Women in the Profession”. After completing her degree, she has taken on the role of Research Assistant for the Bank of Canada, Canadian Economic Analysis department, in Toronto.
